Burney Falls State Park!
A couple a fellow hikers and I got a ride into Burney,CA. I’m in the back of a pickup. Best hitch thus far!
A surprise cache put on by some locals for us thru-hikers! Food, beer, sodas, and solar showers. What else could we possibly need?

Saying goodbye to Mt. Lassen. The only volcano in recoded history other than Mt. St. Helens to erupt in North American and the beginning of the Cascades!
Time to say “Hi” to Mt. Shasta! What a beautiful fourteen thousand foot monster! I’ll get to enjoy the view of it over the next couple hundred miles.
